Cross Stitch It's Calendar 2013We are pleased to offer you our Cross Stitch It.com Calendar - a Cross Stitch Band Sampler to build as the year progresses - a project you can break into manageable pieces month on month.
Each month, we will publish a new band for the Sampler - already fully designed, they will be available along with a calendar chart for you to note special days and appointments. Just print and go!! January is FREE to download; future months will cost just £2 (or equivalent in local currency) In the tradition of Band Samplers, it begins with some simple and narrow bands of cross stitch and backstitch, but, over the months, will include larger and more challenging bands, sometimes using (optional) alternative stitches. The approximate size of the completed Band Sampler will be 9.5" x 44" if stitched on 14 or 27 (over two threads) count fabric. If that's too long, why not split it into two shorter samplers and display as a pair? Or four cushion covers? |

Please note; Pattern Sizes and Thread Amounts
- Approximate sizes given refer to the actual stitched area of the cross stitch designs stitched on 14 count Aida or 28 count Evenweave over two threads, or their equivalent.
- If you use a different count of fabric, or change the type of stitches in the design, finished sizes and thread amounts required may differ.
- Our designs are charted for 14 count fabric, and any sizes stated refer only to the stitched area. Extra fabric needs to be allowed for borders around the stitched area before cutting the fabric.
- Equally, thread amounts listed can only be an estimate as cross stitch stitching styles vary. Please ensure you have more than this minimum amount before starting stitching.
- As we supply our charts at 8/9 squares per inch, some of our pdf files are very large. Why not take advantage of the new pattern sizes and zooms?
Specialist Stitches
